Principe Felipe Hotel

Principe Felipe, Hyatt is a new five-star Andalusian-style hotel which was actually built from the structural core of an existing 47-room hotel located at La Manga Club, a private leisure resort on Spain’s Costa Calida.
During construction of the Principe Felipe, Hyatt, La Manga’s original hotel of reinforced concrete received an extensive renovation and expansion, transforming it into luxurious resort accommodation.
With the addition of two three-storey wings the Principe Felipe, Hyatt contains 300 guestrooms, six suites and a royal suite.
The hotel’s classic design features arches, arcades, wrought iron railings, terracotta roofs and exposed terraces, reminiscent of 18th century Spanish villas. The lobby contains a high, vaulted ceiling, stone floor and a ceiling-to-floor view of the entrance area. The hotel’s interior space was reorganized to overlook the leisure activities and grounds at La Manga. In addition to golf courses and tennis courts, the Principe Felipe also features a gymnasium and spa; a beach club; a soccer field; crown green bowling; an equestrian centre; a jazz bar and a large selection of dining facilities.
In October 1998 Bovis Lend Lease built the Hyatt Casino on two underground levels below the hotel. The Casino has a floor space of 2,000 m², employs more than 170 staff and has a client capacity of 600.
