Wyeth Administrative and Office Building


Bovis Lend Lease developed the construction and coordination of the new administrative building security and reform of existing offices Wyeth plant in San Sebastian de los Reyes, Madrid, including enabling them.
This project seeks to achieve a change in the corporate image of their main offices and relocation of staff, currently spread over several buildings.
The projects developed by Aguilera Engineers (new building) and Jesus Hail (remodeling) are based on an interior design project developed by Aguirre & Newman.
The new building is developed in a single volume and free of other buildings, and is spread over three floors (one below ground), with a total construction area of ​​2,728 m2. The ground and first floors are used for offices and open office areas, while the basement houses the technical areas (with the cover), locker rooms, fitness center and associated services to office use (warehouses, photocopying, etc..)
The two floors of offices distributed around a central covered courtyard, which ensures natural lighting of all jobs.
The current building has an approximate area of ​​2.800m2 and actions to be performed on it is a unification of finishes with the new building, repairing damage caused by the passage of time and installation of new facilities, in line with the new posed distribution.
They proposed an initial amount of 8 packs of recruitment, which expanded to 11 project needs. It also managed a number of small independent orders to cover specific project needs (booths, fencing, waste management, etc.).
Initially planned investment was 12 million dollars, the first budget of 11 million euros, this deviation was corrected by performing a value engineering process, which was developed with the work in progress.
