Ignacio Cobos

OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ignacio Cobos studied architecture at Madrid Higher Technical School of Architecture (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid), where he graduated in 1994.
He has taken several courses in London, England, as part of the Bovis Lend Lease internal training program, among which “Management Development Program” in 2003 and “Leading Business Transformation” in 2004 stand out.

He has more than twenty-five years of professional experience in the real estate and construction sector.

In 1992 he began his professional career collaborating in different architecture studios, ”ARA, Sociedad de Arquitectura” and “ Urbanismo, SL” among other , to later work with the developer “SEGISA (Sociedad Estatal de Gestión Inmobiliaria)”, in the insurance company “ASEFA SA”, Construction Insurance and Reinsurance, and in the engineering company “SETI, Sociedad de Estudios de Territorio e Ingeniería, SA”.

In 2000, he joined Bovis Lend Lease as Project Manager of emblematic projects such as the A400M Military Transport Plane Final Assembly Line in Seville for EADS CASA (AIRBUS), or “La Ciudad Real Madrid” in Valdebebas for REAL MADRID F.C. among others. In January 2006, he took over as Operations Manager in Spain with several projects under his supervision, and later, in January 2008, he became Operations Executive Manager, responsible for all company's projects. Since 2013, he has been CEO and shareholder for Bovis Project Management, S.A. 

Ignacio has taught courses and made presentations on Project Management, and has been Design Management professor for the Integrated Project Management Master and the Concession Management Master at the Architecture Higher Center (“Centro Superior de Arquitectura C.S.A”).

Additionally, Ignacio has been an international field hockey player and has participated with the Spanish National Team in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 84 (8th place) and Atlanta 96 (Silver Medal)
